Opticris, part of the Cris Group, a market leader in the medical optics field in Romania, is a 100% Romanian company whose values derive from the experience gained over the years of its activity.
The company was founded in 1993, and therefore has a history of more than 20 years. The Cris Group has the only frame factory in Romania, both eyewear and sun glasses, made under the CRIS brand.
At present, the production of frames of the group reaches an impressive share, being sold in most of the optics stores in Romania, but also at export.
The CRIS brand is the expression of Mr. Eugeniu Cristescu. Besides, the Cristescu family also made an important contribution to the Romanian innovations in the field, realizing in 1947 the first machine for the manufacture of glasses hinges.
